Michelle Lam | President

mlCurrently a student at Point Grey Secondary, Michelle Lam is honoured to serve as the President for Music Outreach Society. She is proud to see how much MOS has grown and hope to see more communities impacted by youths who have a passion for music. With her skills, she hopes to contribute to not only the musical aspect, but also the administrative and technical side of MOS. Aside from being a pianist, she also plays the organ, flute, piccolo, and erhu. She is also a member of her school’s symphonic band and jazz band. From being a Church pianist to playing at New York’s Carnegie Hall, she has had the honour of performing at a wide variety of venues. Michelle believes that music is an important link that connects people of different ages, races, and genders, and this becomes even more obvious within the Music Outreach community. As Stevie Wonder once said, “Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand.”
